I care deeply about the businesses that I work with and the people who run them. Most of my clients have built their business around a life they’ve chosen carefully, and I completely understand why this needs to succeed for them. I built my own business – not just because it’s something I love doing daily – but because it was an escape route from the corporate world which dictated how I lived. Now I get to create my own rhythm and am more present with my family – the thing that means the most to me. I care genuinely about whether the work we do together holds up, whether the design does its job, whether your business grows. Your success is the measure of mine and that’s what drives me.

Before opening my studio, I worked in graphic design, marketing and brand management. This has given me a really unique perspective on how I now approach design. I never create based on trends, opinions or personal taste. I learn about businesses, people, customers – real commercial and human needs. I root all design decisions in a strategy based on these foundations so that there is no doubt in your mind about whether the designs we are creating will resound with your audience and enable your business to grow.

I absolutely do not gain clarity I need to do my best work by sitting at a desk all day. A step away from screens – away from online noise and influence – that’s where my deepest thinking happens and my best work thrives. Fresh Cornish air, coast path, wildflower hedgerows and quiet, muddy tracks – a daily ritual that underscores my process enabling me to deliver more considered solutions to projects.
